 After the degree in Political Sciences at the University of Bologna, Matteo Pompoli has undertaken several training courses in Information Technology. Then he has joined different companies taking up several responsibilities, mainly in Web related roles. Specifically he was involved in Web project management, information architecture, Web design, SEO, Web Marketing, Web analytics, content management, usability, accessibility, instructional design, Windows and Linux administration, hardware and software technical support. Up to 1999 he strengthened his technical knowledge working as Technicians Support Representative for Digital/Compaq Ireland in Dublin. From 1999 to 2004 he has worked on e-government issues for Ervet, the regional development agency of Emilia Romagna in Bologna. Besides, he has acquired a good knowledge and understanding of the Information Technology issues and the related management skills through projects and researches conducted in the local and international market. Since 2003 is e-learning project manager and instructional designer at the University of Bologna. As a freelance he works as Web designer with SEO, Web Marketing competences.
